Since announcing LH28L in 1988 as the first model of LHL series engines, LH30L, LH32L,LH34L and LH36L were continuously developed. Based on experience and field test result of these engines, big bore series of LH41L and LH46L were developed.
We believe that an extention of non-overhauling period realized by high reliability as a result of restless improvements applied on the engine, reduction of man-power thinking to ease in operation and maintenance, cutting back running cost due to low fuel consumption and reduction of vibration and noise contribute greatly for improvement of ship environment.
Furthermore, we would like to say low-speed, four-stroke LHL series engines are 'Environment-Friendly Engine' because NOx emission is proved very small and little particulate is expelled.
